How to upload your video to Myspace. (You might want to print this out or just keep it open in your word processor for reference)

Two videos are in the Bio and Members section of my myspace using this method.

1. Download the video to your desktop.

2. Open your home (not profile) page at myspace.

3. Click on "Add/Edit Photos"

4. Click on Upload Video!
       "here" to start uploading videos

5. Type in the "Title"

6. Type in the "Description"

(Don't worry about this too much cause you can edit this later)

(You might want to worry about --
7. Click "I agree to Myspace TERMS AND CONDITIONS
(It might pay to read these or you might be giving away some rights to Rupert)

(They seem OK to me.  You retain the rights but allow myspace to publish them on the net)

8. Click "Next"

9. Click on a Category (Music???)

10. Type in some tags so people can find your video.
Suggestions--
Your Name,
Video Title,
Genre

11. Click "Next"

Upload Video: Step 3

12. Go to Upload Film (not Search Video)
Click "Choose"


13. Find the film on your desktop. Must be under 100mb.

14. Click "Open"

15. Click "Upload"

16. You will see connecting

17. I wouldn't do any other tasks till it loads.  Might take 5 - 10 minutes.

18. Now for the real wait maybe a few hours!(you can do other things but this will take awhile for myspace to verify the film. I think they actually view portions to check for porn, etc.)

19. Until it is ready, it will show "Video Status: Processing"

20. Once the processing is complete, you are ready to upload your video to your myspace or your homepage.

21. Click "View"

22. Below the Description, you will see two Video references --

Select Video Code for your myspace

Press <Ctrl>-C to copy the code into your myspace.

23. Click on "HOME" at the top of the View page

(The following is just a suggestion because you could put this in your blog too)

24. Click on "Edit Profile"

25. Click on "Band Details"

26. Click on Bio, Sounds Like, Members, or Influences   "Edit"

27. Paste <CTRL>-P the embed src code in the Sounds Like portion.

28. Click on "Preview"

29. If OK, click on "Submit"

30. DONE FINALLY!!!!!!
